I remember one time I went to him and told him I thought he was being a little too harsh on Finn...
(I hear all moms do this to husbands, bless their hearts 😅)
We bickered back and forth about it for awhile and I finished it off in a kinda bratty way and said something like "I'm listening to all these podcast and books and you haven't even listened to one so how do you know your handling it the right way?"
The truth is, he was already an amazing daddy, its completely natural for dads to handle things different than moms, and it was wrong of me to make him feel bad like that...
But nonetheless-
He started getting recommendations on books, podcasts, and all the things.
That evening he was knee deep in podcast and about a month later he came to me and told me he had listened to almost all of the podcasts on Janet Lansbury's channel (which is a lot) and had a list of things that he wanted to do differently in our parenting journey.
He's always been incredible... I knew I wanted to have his babies as soon as I fell in love with him.
But dang...this was just another time that he showed me he wants to do and be the absolute best.
He wants his boys to have the support and love that ends up changing the world --even if its just in a small way. 🖤
